The Rock Valley Quilter’s Guild started in 1980 with a charter membership of 35. We now have over 150 members. Our primary goals of sharing in quilting skills, past history of quilting, and learning new techniques, are reached through workshop opportunities as well as outside speakers.

Rock Valley Quilter's Guild 2013 Raffle Quilt
| GRANDMOTHER’S FLOWER GARDEN 2013 Raffle Quilt, Rock Valley Quilt Guild Hand pieced and donated by Linda Medina, Machesney Park, Illinois. Hand Quilted by Eunice Daer, Rockton, Illinois. Binding quilted by The Quilting Divas, Beloit, Wisconsin. Techniques: Hand piecing, handquilting of 3,882 hexagons. Contains: 105 Flowers and 10 partial flowers. Quilt Size: 101 X 104 - King The hand piecing took Linda Medina 800 hours to complete. The hand quilting was completed by Eunice Daer in about 120 hours. The finishing quilting took the Divas 4 hours. Approximate Value is $2,500.00 |
